Community Activities
To mark International Nurses Day, we made a small gesture of appreciation by donating some novelty pens to our incredible local hospital staff.
Wanting to shine a light on those often working quietly behind the scenes, I chose to donate them to the Mortuary Team at The Princess Royal Hospital — a group whose dedication and compassion play a vital role in supporting families during difficult times.
Funeral Arranger Rose Fairweather is pictured here with Funeral Service Operative John, who kindly took the pens to the mortuary on my behalf. It may be a simple token, but it carries our heartfelt thanks and respect.
To all nurses and hospital staff — thank you for your care, your strength, and everything you do, every single day. You are truly appreciated.
