Bexley Women’s Aid Collection Helps Families Make a Fresh Start

Colleagues at Doves Funeral Directors came together to support Bexley Women’s Aid by collecting essential bedding items for women and children rebuilding their lives after fleeing domestic abuse.

Thanks to the generous donations, Karen and Toni were able to donate 14 bedding sets along with packs of pillows to help families create a safe and comfortable new home. The collection was inspired by a personal connection to the charity and a shared desire to support those starting again after difficult circumstances.

The team said the most rewarding part of the initiative was knowing they were making a real difference to the lives of others. Supporting women and children as they begin a new chapter made the collection especially meaningful for everyone involved.

We are still collecting 10.5 tog single duvets, single waterproof mattress protectors, pairs of pillows and single bright duvet covers for women, children and teens. Please bring these into our Orpington branch.
